Save this HTML file and open it in a current desktop browser. Choose the parent folder containing Archives/, ENM/, ENF/, and scrape_manifest.JSON. Nested text files are included; filename matching is case insensitive.
The index comes from the manifest and text headers. Word and post filters default to OP posts, excluding thread headers. Switch count scope to inspect all original posts. Review bands identify short threads; they do not determine whether a thread is a story. Bulk actions can be undone until the next batch or page reload. Bundle exports contain only OP posts, and by default omit individual OP posts under 100 words. Local mode preserves every original post for review. Hosted word/post counts refer to retained content; original source counts remain available through the count scope selector. Post count sorting uses parsed posts when a file is available; missing files use the manifest count. The OP is the author of the first parsed post. Hosted OP-only archives omit other contributors; their posts remain available in local folder mode. “OP only” hides replies while keeping their original post numbers.
Search matches every term, in any order; wrap a phrase in quotes. Title, OP, all post authors, thread ID, and your notes are searched by default. In local folder mode, enable full post text for deeper searches. Hosted mode searches metadata library-wide; body search is available inside an opened thread. Inside a thread, use the find field and its arrows to jump between posts containing the text or author you enter. It respects OP-only mode. Numeric limits are inclusive. All filters combine.
Marks and blacklists are independent. Blacklisted stories are hidden by default. Change the shelf filters to see, hide, or isolate either kind. A selected thread remains open if a new filter hides it. Select individual thread checkboxes, this page, or all filtered results to apply bulk changes. Selections span pages; an outside-filters count warns when selected threads are hidden. Selection clears after applying an action. Authors opens a sortable directory of OPs, with optional non-OP contributors; choose a name and a tab for threads started or individual posts in other people’s threads. Blacklisted threads are included in that directory by default and can be excluded there.
Reading position, notes, bookmarks, and preferences are saved in this browser when storage is available. Text files are kept in memory only. Local mode requires reopening your folder next visit. Hosted mode reloads metadata and restores your selected thread automatically. Export metadata for backups and moving browsers. Export ALL metadata contains every tracked thread across all saved folders and filters, including bulk changes, individual post marks, current flags set to false, plus settings and a summary of counts; it contains no story text. Import merges by stable thread ID, using the newer per-thread timestamp. Imported settings are applied. You can import before opening a folder.
All imported content is displayed as plain text. External images are not loaded. The original-thread link opens the forum only when you click it. No analytics or uploads are used. Local mode makes no file requests. Hosted mode fetches only the index and thread assets from the same site.

Browser storage and folder selection can vary for local files, private windows, or embedded previews. If a preview blocks folder access, download the HTML and open it directly. Metadata JSON is the portable backup. Large collections require memory; indexing runs in a background worker with a responsive fallback.
